2019-2020 President Reflection

I joined the Science Alliance team when I was a freshman in high school. Unfortunately, I was unable to participate that year because I registered too late. My sophomore year, I made it on the team as one of only three girls on a team of fifteen. I enjoyed the nature of many of the events. Through science alliance, I was able to gain new knowledge while learning more about myself. I learned that  I loved to build things and plan things out. I wanted to give other kids the opportunity to step outside of their comfort zone and learn new information, so I applied for the President position. I am currently a junior in highschool, and the President of the Science Alliance club. I wanted this year to run smoothly. My goal for this year was getting at least three teams to place top five in the events and introduce the club to many people. Sadly, we were unable to participate this year due to the COVID-19 situation, but for the next year I hope we can achieve this!

My goals for the 2020-2021 Year:

1. Three teams place at Science Olympiad

2. MIT Think Participation (full)

3. Sci.Zone events at different schools.
